School Council

We have a thriving School Council that has representatives from every class. They have an important role within our school and meet at least once every month. During their meetings they express their views on school related issues, talk about the changes they would like to make, arrange fund raising events and voice the opinions of their peers.

All School Councillors write a manifesto application, present their manifestos to their class and are elected by their classmates. This year our school elections took place as part of World Democracy Day.

Our School Council play an active role in school life, organising, attending and running many events such as:

  • Grandparents Community tea party

  • Talent Show

  • CAFOD-Philippines disaster /Christmas charity gifts

  • Library book selection

  • Shoeboxes  Appeal

  • Macmillan coffee mornings

  • Meet the teacher evenings
