Curriculum Statement

At Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School we aim to deliver a cross-curricular approach to learning that is exciting, engaging and challenging. Our curriculum is delivered within the context of our Catholic community and allows each child to develop their gifts and talents alongside their faith in a safe and fun environment.

Designed and planned by our teachers, our curriculum ensures that the statutory requirements of the 2014 National Curriculum are met through a range of experiences, skill development and knowledge acquisition in engaging and relevant contexts.
Please see the Curriculum Overviews for further information on what the children will be learning during each term and check our newsletters for curriculum updates and news of curriculum days.

PSCB Safeguarding Week December 2017

As part of this year's Safeguarding Week, the Portsmouth Safeguarding Children Board invited children from across Portsmouth to enter a poster competition.  They were asked to come up with a design that clearly showed what a healthy diet looks like.

There were lots of fantastic entries and, as a school, we had two winning entries.  These winning posters will be displayed in schools, GP surgeries and hospitals across Portsmouth.

Looking at our winning entries it is clear to see why.
